In the qualifying session for the 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours, Alex Lynn secured the fastest time in his Cadillac with a 3m22.847s, beating Dries Vanthoor’s BMW by four hundredths of a second.
The high temperatures favored Ferrari early on, with Yifei Ye leading the way in the #83 car with a time of 3m23.994s.
Challenges came from Porsche’s Kevin Estre and Cadillac drivers Lynn and Sebastien Bourdais with competitive lap times.
Vanthoor and Lynn engaged in a battle for pole position, with Vanthoor eventually settling for second place.
In the LMP2 class, Louis Deletraz impressed with the fastest time in his #199 ORECA-Gibson 07, while Ben Hanley and Theo Pourchaire followed closely behind.
Despite red flag interruptions, the competition remained fierce, setting the stage for an exciting race at Le Mans.
